Well hi everyone, welcome to Small and Unique!
First of all I want to say a huge thank you to those of you who have followed my page on Facebook @smallanduniqueclothing. Welcome to those of you who haven’t seen that yet, make sure you have a look and give us a like/share. It will probably the quickest way of keeping up with new stock etc! We are also on Instagram (smallanduniqueclothing) although i’m not quite up to scratch with that yet. Haven’t really got much of a clue how it works so that one will be work in process!
So, a bit about me and how Small and Unique Clothing came to be! I have worked in Experiential Marketing for 17 years on a self employed basis. Absolutely loved that and I have to say, that 17 years has flown by. In June however, I gave birth to the most precious little girl ever…. little Maisie. Maisie was due on August 3rd 2017 but decided that she couldn’t wait that long and arrived 6 weeks early! The photograph is from her Newborn shoot at 3 weeks old. She is now 3 months old and a little chunk!
During my pregnancy and since Maisie arrived, I have fallen in love with baby clothes. I adore clothes that are just a little bit different to what you find on the highstreet but what I have learned is that when people say babies grow out of stuff in no time, its true! Consequently I have learned that its better to go for more reasonably priced baby clothes……at least that way you can buy more of them! Lol!
Due to me being Self Employed, maternity pay is pretty much non-existant and I won’t be going back to experiential marketing (too much travel and staying away) so my instant thought was to share my love for Babywear with the world by setting up my own online baby boutique!
So that’s me in a nutshell! I can’t wait to keep searching out new suppliers. I love the Spanish Style Knitted Babywear and also quilted pieces. I currently have some Mintini Baby pieces in stock. They are such lovely quality and pretty designs. I am also in talks with Mayoral. They have some fab pieces so hopefully i’ll be offering their collection very soon.
Keep checking back. I’ll keep you updated on here with how things are going and no doubt bore you with more Maisie pictures but hey, you must love babies, that’s why you’re here! xxx
